About Department
Established in 2015 with an initial cohort of 60 students, the Department of Business Administration at SRMIST
Vadapalani is dedicated to providing quality education.
Our primary goal is to empower students to assume leadership roles and managerial responsibilities, molding them into
industry-ready professionals.
Currently, the department boasts a thriving student community of approximately 350 individuals, guided by highly
qualified faculty members holding doctorates.
The Department of Business Administration has achieved a commendable placement record, consistently securing
positions for its students in esteemed corporate houses, particularly in the southern states of India.
About the Course
The Department of Business Administration at SRMIST Vadapalani maintains a dynamic and contemporary curriculum,
regularly revised to align with the evolving academic and employment landscapes. Designed to prepare students for the
challenges of the business world, the curriculum offers exposure to diverse specialisations such as human resources
management, management principles, business communication, financial and management accounting, banking,
entrepreneurial development, business and company law and insurance.
