Dr. P. Praveen Kumar holds an M.Com (Business Finance), M.B.A (Finance), and a Ph.D. in Finance from Pondicherry University, and is also UGC-NET qualified in Management. He has 13.8 years of academic experience and is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic administration. His teaching interests include Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, along with other finance-related courses. His research interests span finance and interdisciplinary areas, and he has published research papers in reputed ABDC-listed A category, Q1, and Q2 journals, in addition to several national and international publications. Dr. Praveen Kumar has successfully produced three Ph.D. scholars. He is a University First Rank holder at the undergraduate level, received merit scholarships during post-graduation, and was honored as the Best Outgoing Student (National Awardee) for the period 2006–2009. He also serves as an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Innovation and Knowledge, a Q1, ABDC-ranked journal with an Impact Factor of 15.5, and is an active member of the Madras Management Association.
