    • I worked on the ARM platform with the Ubuntu operating system for information and banking kiosks
    • Developed a programming interface for various embedded devices communicated through a USB or serial interface
    • I worked as Head, Research and Development, Yalamanchili Manufacturing Private Limited, IITM Research Park, Chennai, from July 2015 to November 2016
    • Integrated a new USB Wi-Fi device driver with Linux kernel source code and developed a programming interface to enable Wi-Fi connectivity
    • Hands-on experience in preparing customised operating systems from kernel source code for ARM processor-based embedded systems
    • I developed an application interface for video streaming and image capture from a camera in C with the GTK and OpenCV libraries
    • I worked on the Java Native interface to call C and C++ application shared libraries from Java
    • Designed and developed a complete control and monitoring tool for remote monitoring and control with an Oracle back end connected to ProC
    • Designed and developed a diagnostic tool for detecting malfunctions in any application, system software or network connectivity in Ubuntu
    • Designed and developed application modules on the front end using GTK and Glade libraries in C
  • Ph.D.:

      • Scheduling mechanism: part of the operating system for reconfigurable systems
      • Configurable Computation Hardware Block (CCHB) Matching and Identification
      • Merging of CCHBs

      • HDL code generation for scheduled CCHBs
      • Implemented in C and Verilog HDL, tested in Digilent’s PC-based programme called Adept with Basys FPGA board
  • The project was done at the Centre for High Performance Embedded Systems (CHiPES), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. 2005-2006
