Photon, the Photography Club
Photon, the Photography Club under the Faculty of Science and Humanities at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani, hosted its Induction Ceremony on 26th September 2025 at the Ekkattuthangal Campus.
The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Parthasarathy S, Head of the Department, and an overview of the club’s vision and objectives.
Our Chief Guest, Mr. Edwin J. Robert, Creative Director, Photographer, and Founder of Ping Us and Ping Productions, delivered a captivating presentation on contemporary fashion and commercial photography, demonstrating innovative techniques through engaging visuals.
The induction also introduced the Core Team, active members, and student coordinators, concluding with a strong spirit of enthusiasm and camaraderie. Students left inspired to take part in upcoming workshops, competitions, and activities planned for the academic year.
