Established in 2009, the Department of Chemistry boasts a team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty members committed to providing comprehensive education to first-year B. Tech students across all branches. At the heart of our educational approach is a state-of-the-art Chemistry laboratory meticulously designed to reinforce theoretical concepts discussed in lectures. This facility serves not only to elucidate fundamental principles but also to instill crucial laboratory techniques, fostering analytical thinking in our students.

Our well-established research lab is a hub of dynamic exploration, with faculty members actively involved in diverse research activities. Areas of focus include the synthesis of Heterocyclic compounds, Sensor materials and Chiral molecules. Our overarching goal is to impart a strong foundation in basic Chemistry while igniting a passion for research among our students, preparing them to excel in both academia and the ever-evolving landscape of scientific inquiry.
