Soft skills grooming begins early, and the Career Development Centre provides courses in career advancement and personality development. Opportunities abound for students to participate in technical contests and skill-building activities throughout their academic journey, fostering both technical and soft skills.
As the placement season approaches, an intensive in-house training programme is initiated annually. This programme aims to refresh core concepts and technologies learned over the past the past three years, preparing students for the hiring process. In-house staff from respective departments and the career development centre collaborate to deliver refresher classes on core subjects, conduct aptitude test practices, facilitate group discussion sessions, and organise mock interviews. This comprehensive in-house training ensures that SRMIST students are not only academically proficient but also well-prepared for the challenges of the professional world.
