Scholarships at SRMIST Vadapalani

SRM Institute of Science and Technology offers several scholarships to meritorious and deserving students. The scholarship program is a transparent merit-based process. Processing will be done by a Scholarship committee consisting of SRMIST officials and academicians.

SRM Merit Scholarship	SRMJEE Rank based scholarship	25% – 100%	Awarded at the time of admission
Employee Ward Scholarship	Eligible for all Teaching and Non-Teaching staff (min. 5 years experience).	25% – 100%	Awarded at admission, based on years of service in SRM group.
Alumni Ward Scholarship	Parent must be registered as Alumni with SRMIST at time of application.	25%	Awarded at admission, subject to Alumni department approval.
Sports	Level – State / National / International	100% – App, Registration, Tuition, Hostel & Transport fees	Awarded at the time of admission
Performance Based Scholarship	SRMIST Examinations – Seniors only	Subject to recommendation of scholarship committee	May change every year based on performance.

Please Note:

A candidate is eligible for scholarship under any ONE category only.
Not eligible to apply for renewal of scholarship in case of arrears/ backlogs, break of study, detention, malpractice or any disciplinary action on the candidate.
The authorities of SRMIST have the right to revoke the scholarship if the student is found to have a track record of misbehavior, indiscipline, indulgence in any malpractice or fraudulence, or any other reason which comprises the reputation of the institute.
The decision of the scholarship committee is final and binding.
No scholarship is retrospective.
Scholarship is not a demand of right.
All the above scholarships are to be renewed every year subject to performance norms.
