Our diverse array of student clubs provides a platform for students to explore their passions, collaborate with like-minded peers, and engage in enriching extracurricular activities.

About ACE Student Chapter

ACE (Association of Computer Engineering) is a club that was initiated in 2011 for the Computer Science Department. It had been initiated to support the activities of the students in the Computer Science department. The ACE Club’s very first event was Fenestra 2011, which was the first national level technical symposium. Then Fenestra was later changed to Ubertech in 2013. ACE aims at promoting one’s talent and skills through many workshops and events. Also, the responsibility of the students and their leadership qualities are brought out by various events conducted by the ACE club. The ACE club has also been supportive of the students by involving them in various events, seminars, and workshops every year since it started. It motivates the students to compete with the outside world, apart from the regular subjects. The creative and analytical skills of the students are brought out to gain confidence in one’s talent. Every student gets an opportunity to be a member of the ACE Club events every year.

SYNC Community

About SYNC Community

SYNC (Society for Young Networking Coders) is a nascent student coding community formed by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRMIST Vadapalani campus. It was conceived with the aim of motivating students to get involved in hard-core programming. The short-term goal is to provide student mentorship for first-year students and introduce them to various programming languages. The long-term goal is to groom themselves for competitive coding challenges, development of in-house web pages and tools, building community-based student projects, etc. There are multiple groups within the community where the members are organised according to their interest and expertise in areas like learning new programming languages, solving data structure problems, and UI/UX design. The members meet every week and sharpen their programming skills through self mentoring and discussions. The first successful event organised by SYNC was a two week-long Fundamentals of C workshop for first-year engineering students during 1 1–27, 2023. The community is currently evolving, and all the students are welcome to join the community and benefit.

About DNS Student Chapter

DNS (Developer Network Space) is a student-led technical club established in 2025 under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology Vadapalani Campus. The club was founded to build a strong developer community focused entirely on technology, innovation, and real-world application.

Unlike conventional student clubs, DNS is dedicated purely to technical growth and industry readiness through coding programs, hackathons, workshops, product building, and infrastructure-driven initiatives. The club was officially inaugurated on 23rd July 2025 through SUPER30, a coding mentorship program designed to strengthen programming fundamentals and practical skills among students. DNS also launched Mini Hacks, regular challenge-based hackathons that promote creativity, teamwork, and rapid problem solving.

Within a short span, DNS has established its presence through major events such as HackElite 25’ and HackElite 26’, national-level hackathons that brought together innovators from across the country to build impactful solutions in Software, Hardware, and AI/ML domains.
